| 4/10/07 Women Artist of the Westis
holding their fifth show at Hart Park in Santa Clarita, California. The
dates are Thursday, April 27 through April 30, 2006 at William S. Hart Park.
This is Angela's second time her work has been in this show. It is associated
with the Cowboy Festival. This show is a lot of fun and part of the proceeds
go to the charity Wildlife Way Station. |
| 4/3/07 Russ is drawing again.Russ
had not touched his pastels for more then a year until today. He said the
animation business had taken over his life and that he missed the stimulation
of the fine art. He jumped in up to his elbows. Both arms a rainbow of pastel
colors. |

4/1/06 The great elephant is finished.Angela just painted her first commissioned painting. It is a painting of an elephant for Darin Nelson. This painting has a little more color in it and has become one of Angela's personal favorites. Unfortunately the photos don't do the painting justice and it's far better to view the painting in person.

3/15/06 On the mend.Late last fall Angela had and accident. She was riding one of her horses, Bacardi, and was bucked off. Yes, this is the same horse in the painting "Bucking Bacardi". Bacardi decided to live up to the painting's name. Angela ended up breaking and dislocating her ring finger and had to have surgery to repair the damage. She had a pin down through the middle of her finger for about a month. With a lot of hard work and time doing physical therapy, she is getting the use of her hand. In fact Angela is back to painting and drawing at this time.
